FPAWS is looking for volunteers to join a new advisory team and I wanted to help get the word out. If you don't know about FPAWS you really need to check out their site. They do great work to help support us foster parents and advocate on our behalf at local and state level events.

Hello Team! Over the last few years, I have met many people that want to support the goals and mission of FPAWS. Recently, I met with a group of former foster kid prisoners at Monroe Penitentiary that want to help kids in care not end up there. How can we support those efforts? An idea formed and was approved by FPAWS Board members. FPAWS is going to put together an advisory board of citizens that want to help further the mission of FPAWS. This would be an independent FPAWS group that would make suggestions and basically designed and align themselves in a direction that supported the mission of the FPAWS Board.
